  8. Install the file TOOLBAR.XLA using the Tools|Add Ins... menu option.
  9. This will add the command Toolbar Configuration... at the bottom of the 
  10. Tools menu on the worksheet, chart sheet and module sheet menus.

  13. Toolbar Configuration
  14. ---------------------

  16. The Toolbar list box contains the names of the currently defined Toolbars
  17. in Excel. To work with a particular Toolbar, click on it in the list box.
  18.  
  19. The name of the Toolbar you are manipulating is displayed in the Name edit
  20. box.
  21.  
  22. The Properties box indicates whether the Toolbar is a built in Excel bar,
  23. and whether it is visible on the screen at the moment.
  24.  
  25. The Coordinates box gives information about the position of the Toolbar on
  26. the screen.
  27.  
  28. The Position box indicates where the Toolbar is docked, or if it is floating.
  29.  
  30. The Reset button removes any custom buttons from the Toolbar, and also 
  31. removes any macros attached to standard buttons. This button essentially
  32. returns the Toolbar to its `out of the box' state. This button is only 
  33. enabled for built in Toolbars.

  35. Choose the About... button to display version and support information.

  37. Choose the Buttons... button to manipulate the buttons on the Toolbar.

  40. Toolbar Buttons

  43. The Button list box contains the names of all buttons on the current Toolbar.
  44. The word <gap> indicates a seperating gap on the Toolbar.
  45.  
  46. The ID box indicates the internal button ID of built-in buttons. You cannot
  47. edit this value.

  49. The ToolTip box shows the ToolTip for the button which pops up when the mouse
  50. pointer is over the button. To change the ToolTip (for built-in or custom 
  51. buttons), type the new ToolTip and choose the Update button.

  53. The macro button shows the name of the macro associated with the button. To
  54. change the macro, type a new macro name and choose the Update button.
  55.  
  56. The Properties box indicates whether the button is built-in, enabled, already
  57. pushed (eg the Bold button on the Formatting Toolbar is pushed when the 
  58. active cell is formatted as bold), or a gap between buttons.

  60. The Built-In face check box indicates whether or not you have changed the 
  61. default face on the button. To restore the built-in face if it has been 
  62. changed, choose the Reset Face button.
